Walt Pilcher is a former CEO of Kayser-Roth Corporation, the L’eggs Products (the pantyhose in the plastic eggs) division of Sara Lee Corporation, and Nihon Sara Lee, KK (Japan). He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Stanford University. He is a member of Kingdom Congressional International Alliance (KCIA) and has been a church elder and served on the Board of Trustees of Regent University, the Board of Directors of The United Way of Greater Greensboro, and the Business School Advisory Board at Greensboro College. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Apostolic Network of Global Awakening, an international Christian evangelistic ministry, and Evergreen Missions, opening doors in closed indigenous tribes to unlock their God-given identity by redeeming indigenous music, poetry and dance.

Walt’s groundbreaking book on organizational leadership, The Five-fold Effect: Unlocking Power Leadership for Amazing Results in our Organization), was a First Horizon Award finalist in the 2015 Eric Hoffer Book Award competition and has been developed into a teaching series with an accompanying study guide, Experiencing the Five-fold Effect. His collection of mostly humorous short stories and poems, On Shallowed Ground, including Dr. Barker’s Scientific Metamorphical Prostate Health Formula® and other Stories, Poems, Comedy and Dark Matter from the Center of the Universe was published in 2016, and his comic novel, Everybody Shrugged, will be released in the fall of 2017. Walt was an editor of In-Store Marketing: A New Dimension in the Share Wars by Michael Wahl and More than We Can Imagine: A Practical Guide to the Holy Spirit by Rev. Dick Robinson.

Walt and his wife, Carol, an artist and fellow member of KCIA, live in Greensboro, North Carolina, have three adult children and six grandchildren, and attend Grace Church in High Point, North Carolina.
