Gal. 1:15-18 (KJV)
“But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by His grace, To reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.”
Here is God’s purpose and plan for every believer, for the Father to reveal His Son, in and through you. Apostle Paul went through fourteen years of intense preparation to fulfill his call of sonship. God the Father not only wants to reveal His Son to us but through us. The ultimate plan of Father God is to reveal Himself in and through you. To press towards the high call of God in Christ Jesus, is to reveal Him in our daily lives; the Father longs for us to reveal His life, nature and ministry in and through us.
The question is not how great our gift, talent, ministry or business is, but how much of the Son is revealed in you. Father God is now begging to be visible in the earth! It is time to give Him visibility!
2 Cor. 4:1 & 7 (KJV)
“Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not…But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
This is our assignment, to become dispensers of God’s grace and life in the earth. God deposited this treasure, Himself, in our earthen vessels. This is our ministry; we are dispensers of God’s Kingdom, power and glory in the earth.
Prov. 29:18 (KJV)
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
The word vision is the Hebrew word in the Greek, equivalent to the word apocalypse, which is translated “appearing”. Therefore, in this passage, we are not setting goals in the future or desires we want to accomplish; the word vision is much greater than that. Proverbs 29:18 should literally read like this: “Where there is no appearing of the Lord, the people perish.” We also should be looking for His appearing.
John 3:16 (KJV)
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Here we see the Father sent His Son, appearing in flesh, so that none would perish. We should always be looking for His appearing.
1 John 3:1-2 (KJV)
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.”
It is not His appearing that makes us like Him; but it is our being like Him, that makes His appearing so glorious.
Rom. 8:19 (Phillips)
“The whole creation is on tiptoe to see the wonderful sight of the sons of God coming into their own.”
The word manifestation in the Greek comes from the word apokalypsis; an uncovering, laying bare, revelation, appearing and being revealed. The manifestation of the sons of God is an unveiling or uncovering of the Christ within. The world is not waiting for a revelation, but a manifestation of God in the sons of God. Manifestation is not just a life to possess for ourselves, but a life to give away to others. Manifestation includes signs, wonders and miracles but it is so much more; it is righteousness, demonstrating love, it is integrity at work, it is serving humanity, it is encouraging the discouraged, it is making peace, and it is walking in humility. One of God’s highest purposes is to express Himself to humanity through the sons of God. The world has seen religion, traditions of men, and programs, but they have yet to see the sons of God.
Son is your eternal name; angels have not been given that name. The titles of apostle, prophet, entrepreneur, pastor and millionaire will fade away but ‘son’ is your eternal name. Those names such as apostle and entrepreneur are titles and functions given to express sonship. Sonship is the unction for the function. Titles never make a man or woman; the spirit in which they function does.
Whenever God wants to bring deliverance and change, He sends a son. Not only is creation waiting for sons but the Father is looking and waiting for sons. One of the earmarks of sons is their high degree of servanthood. Jesus would have rather been a deacon than to lead, but the Father called Him to be a leader. Jesus loves serving; He cooked for His disciples, He washed their feet and served them communion. He was a servant by nature but called to leadership by the will of God. That is what the Father is seeking in this present hour.
In this past season, our churches have been filled with spiritual orphans. An orphan must defend himself, protect himself and provide for himself. Therefore, orphans will always be concerned for their provision and protection but the sons of God live in the protection and provision of their Father. My 16-year-old son, Christian Mark, is never concerned if there is food in the refrigerator, if there is gas in the car, or if the electric bill is paid. He knows that his father lives to provide and protect him. The sons of God don’t need anything because they have the Father! My son doesn’t need anything; he has me, and I’m his provider. So is it with the sons of God.
We are promised that it behooves the Father to bring many sons into glory who look just like the Pattern-Son Jesus. These sons will have the same glory that Jesus walked in. They will love like Jesus, heal like Jesus, deliver like Jesus and bless others just like Jesus.
Heb. 2:10 (KJV)
“For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”
The Father’s heart is always toward His Son; He lifts His Son up as a standard.
John 12:45 (KJV)
“And He that seeth me seeth Him that sent Me.”
Only sons can set people free. In sonship it is much more than what you say or do, but who you are and what you carry in the Spirit. The next move of the Spirit is not in the excellence of words alone, but the excellence of one’s spirit.
Luke 3:22 (KJV)
“And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in Thee I am well pleased.”
The only way to find God is through a son. He cannot be found through religious systems of men or organizations. Sonship embodies the life of Jesus Christ. All creation is designed to respond to sons. When a son is disobedient, there is catastrophe in creation. When Adam violated his sonship, the earth yielded thorns and thistles. When Cain murdered his brother and quit acting like a son, the heavens closed up over him. When the prodigal left his position and function as a son, he fell into famine.
When a son rebels, creation responds in like manner. When the prodigal son joined the wrong group, it effected his provision. When Israel, who God called His corporate son, was abused by Pharaoh, creation became violent and released 10 plagues. When the corporate son complained, the waters became bitter at Marah. When the sons of Korah disobeyed, the earth quaked. When Noah, as a son of God, obeyed Divine instructions and built an ark, judgement fell on the wicked but salvation came to Noah and his family. When Lot fled Sodom and Gomorrah, there was no son, so judgment fell. When a city has no corporate son, there will be failing economies, climate changes, environmental catastrophes, plagues and hostilities. When a city is void of sons, it creates a vacuum for drugs, psychic centers, pornography, illegal churches, and illegitimate systems, corrupt governments, secret societies and cults.
Creation is groaning for the manifestation of the sons God. On the cross the Son was abused; then the sun turned to darkness and the earth quaked. Once again, all of creation is designed to respond to a son. In cities where there is no son, we will see pestilence, sickness, famine, poverties, divisions, corruptions and lawlessness. But where there is a son, we will see provision, peace, prosperity and an open heaven. Even the racial tension of our day finds its answer in sonship, for in Christ there is no prejudice, only a son. Through sonship we will see in the coming days a Divine equalization. Religion and politics cannot bring equality, only Christ and His sons will experience equality.
Jer. 12:4 (KJV)
“How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.”
Since prayer was taken out of our schools, and abortion was legalized, now it is legal for homosexuals to marry. We have permitted evil spirits to defile the land, even the land according to Jeremiah 12, is crying out to God. The land is groaning for and calling out for the sons of God. The hurricanes, mudslides, earthquakes and forest fires are not a result of global warming; it is human behavior that causes climate chaos, not global warming. Creation is regurgitating, crying out for God. Even creation knows more than the Church that we need God. Creation submits to its Creator and that Creator, the Greater One, resides in you. These are the birth pangs of a new age, a Kingdom age. Every political, social, religious, and scientific, man-made ideology has failed, so now the corporate son of God must arise and co-create with God, to release heaven upon the earth.
Everything functions by rank and position in God’s kingdom. In the animal kingdom it is the lion who rules, in the bird kingdom it is the eagle, and in Christ’s Kingdom it is the sons of God. As we cross over from the Church age to the Kingdom age, we shall see the sons of God arise with healing in their wings and deliver creation from its present bondage.
God has three sons:
- Jehovah’s first son was Moses and the children of Israel,
- His second son was Jesus Christ, the mediator of grace and truth,
- The Father’s third son is the corporate, end-time, glorious Church, the man-child, the mature church, the overcoming church, His foot company, a Kingdom of priests and His holy nation.
We have entered a season where sons are being sent. Sent means to send like an arrow, to grow, to branch out, to spread forth. These sent sons are a branch of the Kingdom, sent forth in the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory. Our assignment is clear, we are to be the answer to this world’s problems. Our set-time has come, the domain of heaven is all around us now. These sons of God are a military might, delivering creation from its present bondage. They are change agents sent by God to start a God Revolution in this present world. They are a radical remnant, invading and disrupting this present world by bringing days of heaven upon the earth. They are the most powerful army hell has ever faced! They are feared by demons and devils like no other generation. The powers of darkness are threatened by the rising of this militant Kingdom army, knowing they are anointed to bring all of their enemies under their feet.
These sons of God are now manifesting God’s healing power, delivering power, saving power, miracle working power, and life transforming power. Their authority and power manifests with signs, wonders, and creative miracles. They have been given the power to create wealth that will establish the plans and purposes of God in their world. Their very words impregnate barren places, and reshape, rebuild and revive that which is bound, broken and bruised. Their desperate thirst and pursuit for King Jesus is what sets them apart and makes them a lethal weapon in the hands of God. These sons are a mighty overcoming army of reformers who are sent to establish the Presence of God for generations to come. They will be known as the sons of God, the true Church that God is building today, and the gates of hell will not overcome this glorious Church. These rising sons will be known as the greatest generation that will ever live!
