There are many exciting things God will unfold in and through us. It is very important for us to understand the mind and the heart of God for each situation.
There are three words the Holy Spirit gave me for this year: CHANGE, FULFILLMENT, and KINGDOM.
Change
Get ready for change! There is nothing new about this, but we don’t like it and will try to resist it. You will have to learn new ways of doing things in every aspect of your life; business, ministry, church and in the political world. Things are changing at a faster pace than we can keep up with. How do we address the change that is happening around us, and adapt to it, without losing the essence of who we are and what we stand for?
The political world will become more and more unstable and chaotic. Prayers of the saints will decide the outcomes of many challenges and issues we face nationally and internationally.
Whenever something changes or shifts in the natural, God has already prepared a solution for us on how to address or face it. The problem is that most of the time we do not discern to understand what God has prepared, and instead, we react to change or resist it by remaining in the old paradigm.
If the Church won’t change on its own, and move with the new seasons in the Spirit, God will allow persecution to force the change. When the Church resists change, one of four things will happen and they are mentioned below.
First, the Church will become more religious. Second, it will begin to look more like the world to appease the people. Third, it will begin to depend on demonic and occult powers to deceive the saints with false signs and wonders for monitory gain. And, fourth, it will become a humanistic club.
Fulfillment
This year you will experience a greater level of fulfillment of the things concerning your destiny and assignment on the earth. If you have been waiting for the manifestation of the promises God has given you, they will begin to manifest in 2020. New levels, new connections, and new places will open up for you. God will give you favor in places you did not see any favor in the past.
The Kingdom of God
The message of the kingdom of God will begin to take preeminence in the church. More and more people will start preaching the gospel of the kingdom, worldwide. We are entering the second decade of the 21st Century. This century is marked for the kingdom of God. He will reveal the secrets of His kingdom to His people, which have been hidden to the past generations.
Many will get offended at the message of the kingdom because it is not supportive of the kingdoms they have been building. Many have been deceived by the enemy, believing it is reserved for some time in the future. Those who are wise will receive the message of the kingdom of God and move with Him.
“And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever” (Daniel 2:44).
“Until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom” (Daniel 7:22).
